Robolayer Pall — High-Throughput End-of-Line Palletizing
Gizelis Robotics proudly announces the completion of the largest layer palletizing project ever implemented in Greece, awarded by one of the country’s leading yogurt producers — Hellenic Dairies. This high-performance installation stands as a benchmark in food industry automation, designed to deliver exceptional speed, reliability, and hygiene compliance.
Five independent production lines continuously feed the robotic system with yogurt carton tray stacks. The products are elevated 3 meters above ground using specially designed continuous-flow lifters, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted product handling.
From there, plastic chain conveyors drive the trays into programming tables, where up to five complete pallet layers are formed simultaneously. Three Yaskawa PL500 robots, equipped with Gizelis Robotics’ uniquely engineered layer palletizing grippers, handle the process with remarkable precision — achieving a total system capacity of 32 pallets per hour.
