Robotic CNC Machining Cell with Yaskawa Motoman ES165D
Gizelis Robotics has developed an advanced robotic CNC machining cell powered by a Yaskawa Motoman ES165D industrial robot, delivering exceptional flexibility and precision in 3D machining applications. The robot is equipped with a high speed spindle, automatic tool changer, and lubrication system, and is fully programmed through Delcam PowerMILL. Communication between the robot and the PC enables seamless program transfer and virtually unlimited memory capacity.
In this demonstration, the material being machined is steel. The cell is also capable of processing a wide range of materials including marble, stone, and composites. With the addition of external axes, the robot can manage very large parts, creating opportunities for new application fields such as sculpture, architecture, and mold making.
