Robotic Packaging — PAPADOPOULOU Case
With this robotic packaging project, Gizelis Robotics designed and installed a high-speed, compact robotic system for PAPADOPOULOU, one of Greece’s most iconic biscuit manufacturers.
Apart from the limited space available for installation, the extra challenge was ensuring perfect synchronization with the existing flow pack machine.
The solution features a Yaskawa GP7 robotic arm equipped with a custom gripper, ideal for handling up to 60 biscuit packs per minute with precision and reliability.
To achieve a low footprint within the production area, Gizelis Robotics engineered a spiral conveyor that elevates the products vertically — a clever, space-saving design that can be detached at any time for maintenance or cleaning.
